In 2019, our President and CEO, Stephanie Rosario, had the once-in-a-lifetime experience to visit Uganda, Africa.
“Uganda is a place where survival is often the only way of life,” she says. “Having schooling and an education sometimes is the difference between life or death. We are continually humbled by the perspective that what in the U.S. is called poverty and necessity, in other places, can be a luxury.”
It was this trip and the perspective she gained which inspired one of her next steps… investing in the Miracle Destiny School project in Kawempe, Uganda, Africa.

We have been excitedly watching the progress of this project over the last few years, and it has been truly inspiring to receive updates along the way, and see it take shape.
We are especially happy to say, as of September 21, 2024, the new school was officially opened!

A true community celebration, parents, students, friends, family, and community leaders were all in attendance as the Pastors from the Miracle Destiny Centre, Robert and Jessica Kayanja and Robert and Rose Nabulere, officially dedicated and commissioned the new school with a series of events including a bountiful breakfast and a leaders’ conference. Thousands of people from the community and surrounding areas came together to show their excitement and gratitude for this life-changing project!

“We are eternally grateful for all the love and support!”, they wrote in their report on the finished project.
AMA has always believed in giving back and in the power of education. So, when we think of the children whose stories now get to be rewritten, and the legacies that will change for the families of this community for generations to come… we are both humbled and in awe of all that we have been blessed with.

We are so grateful to have been a part of this project and cannot wait to see all they accomplish in the coming years!
