Kenneth Clark, Founder of Vibrant Families, had a difficult childhood. Experiencing abuse, poverty, abandonment, and dysfunction ignited a fire in his heart to help others, especially young men.  He recognized that in order to build successful relationships and achieve success throughout life, people need to discover their worth and develop unwavering self-confidence. It is this passion that was the driving force for him to start Vibrant Families. 

Vibrant Families is out to build brighter futures by empowering underserved communities and at-risk and fatherless youth through mentorship, new experiences, successful tools, and community projects. 

Another part of this initiative is The Legacy Club which focuses specifically on at-risk and fatherless boys. Their goal is to instill positive habits and foster relationships that guide them toward a brighter future. Recognizing the challenges these young boys face, The Legacy Club is committed to reversing the trends that lead to higher risks of negative outcomes like substance abuse and involvement in the juvenile justice system. 

They create environments where these young men feel valued, understood, and motivated to explore new and diverse opportunities for their growth and their efforts have really paid off! In 2023, Vibrant Families saw over a 30% growth in student academic achievement, improved school attendance, and reduced misconduct and suspensions
