10, 3, 47, 372… What do these numbers all have in common?
They are AMA’s rankings on the 2024 Inc. 5000 list!
That’s right, folks. For the third year in a row, AMA’s hard work has been rewarded with a coveted spot on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list.
We are:
- Number 10 in Government Services
- Number 3 in Winter Park, FL
- Number 47 in the state of Florida
- AND… Number 372 in the nation!
Since its inception in 1982, only 4% of companies have made this list five times, and less than 1% have done so five years in a row. We’re determined to join that elite group, proving that impact and excellence go hand in hand. Years 4 and 5—here we come!
When we think about all of the companies who made the list along with us, we are humbled to be counted among them.
Today, we’re celebrating this milestone with you and taking a moment to share a snapshot of what makes AMA thrive.
Here’s to creating a greater impact—one ranking, one year, and one achievement at a time!
How It All Began
In 2001 our original founder, Annettie Machuca, and her daughter, our now CEO, Stephanie Rosario went to work for the Sanford Housing Authority in Sanford, FL. When Annettie was initially offered the job, she took it on the condition that Stephanie be brought on as an intern. But, impressed by Stephanie’s expertise, they hired her too.
In 2006, Annettie wanted to accomplish more. That is when she founded Annettie Machuca & Associates and brought on two of her children to run the business, Stephanie being one. In 2015, Annettie Machuca & Associates would become AMA Consulting Group under the full leadership of Stephanie.
What started 18 years ago with only 3 people who had a passion to serve the community has now become a force in the affordable housing industry!
