EHV and Stability Voucher Verification Requirements Revision Notice Issuance Date

Begin applying HUD’s revised EHV and Stability Voucher documentation requirements as of this date. Notice PIH 2026-05 removes prior flexibility that had allowed delayed submission of SSN and citizenship or eligible immigration status documentation. PHAs must follow the standard requirements at 24 CFR 5.508 and 24 CFR 5.210 through 5.218, and this notice leads directly to the May 4, 2026 compliance deadline.
