Homelessness Waiver Streamlining Rescission Notice Issuance Date

Begin applying HUD’s rescission of the streamlined waiver review process as of this date. Notice PIH 2026-04 rescinds the streamlined review process for regulatory waivers intended to expedite admission to HCV, PBV, and Public Housing programs for persons experiencing homelessness. Waivers already approved or granted under the prior notice remain valid until expiration under their approval terms.
