Renewal Communities Rule Removal Publication Date

Publication date of HUD’s final rule removing the Renewal Communities regulations from the Code of Federal Regulations. HUD scheduled publication of the final rule removing 24 CFR Part 599 on this date. The rule reflects that the Renewal Communities program has fully sunset, the underlying statutory authority was repealed, and the regulations are no longer in use.
