Section 3 Threshold Update Effective Date

Begin using the updated Section 3 project funding threshold amounts as of this date, where applicable. HUD rounded the recalculated thresholds to $300,000 for Section 3 projects receiving Housing and Community Development financial assistance and $150,000 for projects receiving assistance from Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes programs. Public housing financial assistance does not use these thresholds and is not affected by this update. This effective date follows the February 13 publication of the threshold update notice.
